Key Account Manager

Solenis is seeking a driven and experienced Key Account Manager to oversee a large paper account in Minnesota. This role is ideal for a technical sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships, delivering value-added solutions, and driving business growth in industrial water treatment.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain regular communication with sales management to keep stakeholders informed on account activity
2. Complete weekly reporting and manage inventory to ensure visibility and accountability
3. Perform on-site testing to verify safety and effectiveness of treatment programs
4. Proactively address customer issues, collaborating with sales and customer teams to implement corrective actions
5. Analyze data to evaluate program performance and drive continuous improvement decisions
6. Partner with plant/process owners to lead and implement ongoing process improvements in a manufacturing environment

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or other technical discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered, including 10+ years of relevant manufacturing or equipment experience.
• Documented sales success in the paper industry, along with a strong background in pulp and paper industry.
• Ability to solve complex and non-routine technical problems.
• Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of industrial processes and customer operations, or the ability to quickly learn industry-specific applications and technologies.
• Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Must reside within approximately 45 minutes of International Falls, MN
• Experience with laboratory testing, pumps, pipefitting, and electrical systems preferred.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call weekend rotation
